The Philco PC

We saw a slightly different approach here in PC designs geeky gadgets, but the PC Philco Schultzeworks Dave Scultz design must still be best.

Salfeld Child Control 2010

Computers are the place for children. This is the place where they can sharpen their agility as well as their abilities. They can learn and make new friends. What’s more, the Internet provides information for homework assignments. So far, so good. But they also need to be protected from the computer—for one thing, so that they don’t lose their sense of time and forget to go out and play with their friends once in a while, and for another, because of the dangers lurking on the Web. That’s why responsible parents everywhere install Child Control on every computer that their children use.

Corsair Flash

Corsair, a worldwide leader in high-performance computer and flash memory products, announced the 32GB and 64GB Flash Survivor™ GTR USB flash drives. These drives share their high-performance lineage with the award-winning Flash Voyager® GTR, and are among the fastest, most rugged USB flash drives available.
In addition to ultra-high performance, Flash Survivor GTR drives are also extremely durable. Each drive is encased inside an aircraft-grade aluminum shell, which makes it practically indestructible. In independent reviews, Flash Survivor drives have been dropped, battered with hammers, baked, boiled, frozen, zapped in a microwave, and even run over by SUVs, and they still come back for more! Each drive is also fitted with a shock-dampening collar and EPDM seal, which provides water-resistance to a depth of 200 meters.

Foot Ball Remote

For those of you that really enjoy your football games or soccer as it’s called in my part of the world, now you can even surf the channels with your favorite sport in mind. This small ball has all of the necessary buttons to make it possible to surf through your normal channels. It’d be great for dedicated sports fans, but even better for a kid’s room.

It’ll work just fine with all different TV brands, just like any other universal remote that you’d pick up from your local electronics shop. It’ll also work with your DVD player and even your satellite, although I imagine it doesn’t have nearly as many buttons as your satellite remote. It also has a range of 7.6 meters. As of now it’s actually out of stock, once it’s back it’ll cost you right around $20

Electric Scooter

Going around in a scooter can be pretty fun, but why not do so while being environmentally friendly? The E300 Razor Electric Scooter will help your daily commute without having to have a tinge of regret, where it has a larger deck, frame and tires for older teens and adult riders, traveling up to 15 miles per hour to make this the speediest Razor electroc scooter yet. Since it runs off electric power, the chain driven motor is super quiet. Just be careful that you don’t “sneak” up on pedestrians and joggers in this since it is deadly silent, lest you give them a shock of their lives. Once you’re done with your journey, you can fold it into a portable package, making it a snap to tote around on a holiday, on public transport or just day trips. Each full charge offers a range of 9 to 11.5 miles, which is roughly the equivalent of 45 minutes of run time. The E300 Razor Electric Scooter will retail for £269.95.

Ring Box With LCD Screen

Alright so let’s say you’ve finally found that girl that puts up with all of your garbage and you want to keep her around. Proposals are a tricky thing, especially if you’re marrying a geek. After all, she’s read about all the other grand proposals other geeks have done, so you have to do just as good. What better way than to use an electronic ring box with a tiny LCD screen?

Just put the fat diamond in the middle and you can play some sentimental music through the built-in speaker. The battery is rechargeable, by just plugging it into your USB port. It’d be wise to make sure that it does have a full charge, but should the proposal take a while the battery life has about 1 to 2 hours. In order to purchase the Ivy Carat Diamond Jewelry Case, it’ll cost you £80.71 or about $124. Sorry boys, no ring is included with that dea

Dream Machine Offers Under Bed Storage

People have been hiding things under their bed for ages. I just can’t really say it’s ever occurred to me to stash a big flat screen TV under my bed. Apparently one gadet creator has a slight thing for stashing things under the covers, because they decided to create a mechanism that will hide your TV and then bring it out again with just the touch of a little button.

You’d have to make sure that you have a whole lot of clearance space for your TV to move from underneath to up where you can see it. When it shows up on your doorstep it comes pre-assembled and doesn’t even require for you to modify your bed frame at all. It can handle a screen that weighs up to 120lbs, which means you can have a pretty serious TV. Sadly though it can cost you up to $22,999.

working travelers on a roll

Let’s face it, laptops aren’t really laptops. They’re portable computers. And when travelers are forced to work while waiting for their flights, doing so while keeping track of luggage, cellphones, and other travel necessities can’t make for quite the juggling act.

Well, our friends at Hammacher Schlemmer have the answer in a rolling luggage cart – which creates a more stable work platform than your lap. Forget about having to juggle your laptop, cellphone, and even iPod when you shift your weight in those uncomfortable air terminal seats. The Rolling Luggage Cart and Desk provides a sturdy place to work or even enjoy a movie, rather than having to balance everything on your knees.
Made of lightweight, molded ABS plastic and an anodized aluminum frame, the RLCD unfolds at the touch of a button into a platform 26″ from the floor. The desk can can hold up to 20 lbs., and can accommodate up to a 17″ wide laptop.
Attached luggage can be as large as 36″ and still navigate airplane aisles thanks to the 17¾” width of the cart. Then, when fully compacted, it can be stowed in an overhead compartment.
Total weight is 11 pounds and costs about $160
